Shri M. Anand, BTEU BSNL Circle Office Branch President has retired on Superannuation on 31.5.2023. BTEU BSNL wishes him a Very Happy Retired life. We acknowledge his services to the Union and BMS.
मैनेजमेंट की अपील एवम PGM SR से वार्ता के उपरान्त जिसमें उनका आश्वाशन कि 23 मई को निदेशक मानव संसाधन BSNL BOARD के साथ BTEU BSNL के पदाधिकारियों की बैठक कर समस्याओं पर चर्चा कर समाधान किया जायेगा। इसलिए 11मई 2023को कॉरपोरेट ऑफिस नई दिल्ली में होने वाले प्रदर्शन को स्थगित किया जाता है। वार्ता के उपरान्त सभी पदाधिकारियों से चर्चा कर भविष्य की कार्य योजना पर विचार किया जाएगा।.
The 3rd Biennial Circle conference of BTEU(BSNL),NE-1 Circle was successfully completed
on 7th May,2023 under the Presidentship of Sri Sudip Das. In the conference All India General Secretary, Shri R.C pandey was present as the Chief guest. Shri Ranjan Kumar Saha,Prabhari,North East,BTEU(BSNL) hoisted the Flag in the conference. Smt. Debashree Kaloi, National Executive Member,BMS from Tripura was present as a special guest of honour. Shri Tapan Kumar Dey,General Secretary,Tripura Pradesh BMS;Shri Uttam Sarkar,President, West Tripura District BMS and Shri Babul Ghosh,Secretary,West Tripura District BMS were aslo present in the meeting. Shri Mukesh Kumar Gupta, General Manager,Tripura BA and Shri Rajib Bhattacharjee, TAC member and also President of Tripura Pradesh BJP participated in the Open session at 3.00 PM. Shri Sandipan Roy Chowdhury, Tripura District President of AIGETOA was also present in the meeting with his members And Sri Subrata Debnath, Secretary, Tripura district, SNEA also participated in the Open Session. On the Same day, the new Circle committee,BTEU(BSNL),NE-1 and District committee, Tripura district have been formed in the presence of National executive member. Circle President-Sri Nitya Gopal Debbarma(JE) Circle Secretary-Sri Sudip Das(JE). Circle Treasurer-Sri Goutam Kar(ATT).
The ALTTC/TTC Jbalpur has prescribed new standards of qualifyng marks for the Training batches which are at present going on in various training centres. As per these orders minimum percentage will be 50%. The CHQ took u the case with the BSNL management immediately. Yesterday Shri V.V.S.Satyanarayana, President CHQ met Smt Samitha Luthra Ji, Pr. General Manager Recruitment and Training in the BSNL corporate office and discussed the issue and demanded that the earlier system of qualifying marks should be restored. To this extent the copy of the earlier orders was also supplied to her. She has assured to get the case reexamined. The matter will be pursued further.
The DOP&T has issued orders in March 2023 regarding exercise of option for the Government employees who are in the NPS to come over to the OPS. The DOT has also endorsed these orders. However, the BSNL management is yet to circulate the same. The issue was discussed with the PGM Establishment by the CHQ President Shri V.V.S.Satyanarayana on 8.5.23 and it was urged that the DOPT orders may be circulated so that eligible officials can exercise their option.
The training programme for JE cadre is taking place from 10.4.23 in all training centres, The ALTTC has issued new guidelines with regards to qualifying marks which are prescribed as 50%, further the sylabus for the modules is also very tough. The CHQ has taken up with the Director HR for withdrawing this letter of ALTTC and revert to the old system of qualifying marks. For detaisl of the case please see link Issues taken up.
BSNL Corporate office has advised all the circles to ensure that sufficient number of private hospitals are empanelled at Circle and BA level to ensure that the BSNL employees and Pensioners are given proper medical care. The CO has further stated that all the pending bills if any of the hospitals should be cleared immediately. For details of the letter see link MRS.
WE ARE EXTREMELY HAPPY TO INFORM THAT THE ALL INDIA GRADUATE ENGINEERS & TELECOM OFFICERS ASSOCIATION, THE RECOGNISED ASSOCIATION OF BSNL OFFICERS HAS JOINED THE BHARATIYA MAZDOOR SANGH TODAY. THEY ARE GRANTED AFFILIATION PROVISIONALLY TO BE RACTIFIED IN THE NEXT NATIONAL EXECUTIVE MEETING.
The circle conference of the Bharatiya Telecom Employees Union (BSNL) Tamil Nadu circle was held at Madurai on 25.4.2023. Shri N.Subramonian, All India President Indian Telecom Employees Federation and Shri V.V.S.Satyanarayana, All India President BTEU BSNL attended the conference and guided the delegates. The following were elected unanimously. S/Shri V. Senthilkumaran AOS TRY as President, Shri M.Sundaresan , SOA Circle office as Circle Secretary and Shri B.Karunakaran, Attendant circle office as Finance Secretary. We heartily congratulate them.
The 8th Circle Conference of Bharatiya Telecom Employees Union (BSNL) Kerala Circle was held at Trissur on 23.4.2023 in a grand manner. A large number of members and sympathisers paricipated in the conference. Shri V.Radhakrishnan, All India Secretary, BMS and Shri V.V.S.Satyanarayana, All India President BTEU BSNL addressed the conference. Shri Satyanarayana informed about the latest deelopmnts in the BSNL and dwelt on other issues. The following were elected unanimously for the next term. S/Shri R.Santosh Kumar from Kollam, P.M.Raju from Trissur and S.Satya Chandranfrom Tiruvananthapuram as President, Circle Secretary and Finance Secretary.
