IDA increases by 3.3% w. e. f. 01.07.2023.Total IDA will be 202.3% +3.3% = 205.6%.

The CGMs AP and Telangana have issued circulars to the BA Heads to identify officers and staff whose performance is low or not performing. The CHQ took strong objection to this circular and has taken up with the CMD BSNL to direct the concerned CGMs to withdraw the circulars immediately as they are not governed by corporate office orders. CGM AP circle has issued transfer orders to Group C officials working in circle office to the Krishna SSA which is against the norms. The CHQ has taken up the issue with the CMD BSNL to cancel the orders. For details please see link Issues taken up.

The form for recovery of union subscription from the employees is kept in the link Circulars. All the Circle / Distict and Branch secretaries are requested to download the same and ensure that maximum number of forms are filled up.

Corporate office has issued instructions that w.e.f. June-July 2023 check off round, the employees have to submit their options on line for change of union subscription from one union to another union. This direction of the corporate office is very dangerous, it will affect many unions for obvious reasons. The CHQ has immediately asked the management to withdraw the instructions. BSNL CO has withdrawn its orders dated 5.6.23 regarding online option for Union subscription for Non executives after the CHQ took up the issue.

A notice was served on the CMD BSNL and Secretary DOT by all the Non executive unions in BSNL over the 3 main demands viz., Implementation of 3rd PRC, New Promotion Policy and Immediate launch of 4G/5 G. For details see link Demands. All the Circle and District Secretaries are advised to participate in the programme given by the Forum without fail and report compliance to the CHQ.

Shri M. Anand, BTEU BSNL  Circle Office Branch President has  retired on Superannuation on 31.5.2023.  BTEU BSNL wishes him a Very Happy Retired life. We acknowledge his services to the Union and BMS.
