BSNL Corporate office has advised all the circles to ensure that sufficient number of private hospitals are empanelled at Circle and BA level to ensure that the BSNL employees and Pensioners are given proper medical care. The circle conference of the Bharatiya Telecom Employees Union (BSNL) Tamil Nadu circle was held at Madurai on 25.4.2023. Shri N.Subramonian, All India President Indian Telecom Employees Federation and Shri V.V.S.Satyanarayana, All India President BTEU BSNL attended the conference and guided the delegates. The following were elected unanimously. S/Shri V. Senthilkumaran AOS TRY as President, Shri M.Sundaresan , SOA Circle office as Circle Secretary and Shri B.Karunakaran, Attendant circle office as Finance Secretary. We heartily congratulate them.
The 8th Circle Conference of Bharatiya Telecom Employees Union (BSNL) Kerala Circle was held at Trissur on 23.4.2023 in a grand manner. A large number of members and sympathisers paricipated in the conference. Shri V.Radhakrishnan, All India Secretary, BMS and Shri V.V.S.Satyanarayana, All India President BTEU BSNL addressed the conference. Shri Satyanarayana informed about the latest deelopmnts in the BSNL and dwelt on other issues. The following were elected unanimously for the next term. S/Shri R.Santosh Kumar from Kollam, P.M.Raju from Trissur and S.Satya Chandranfrom Tiruvananthapuram as President, Circle Secretary and Finance Secretary. CHQ wishes the new set of office bearers all the best.

The Circle Conferences of the Bharatiya Telecom Employees Union (BSNL) will be held in the following circles in April/May 2023.
In BSNL there are about 4000 employees who were given posting orders after 1.10.2000 even though they were eligible for appointment prior to 1.10.2000 due to various administrative reasons. The BTEU BSNL has been continuously raising this issue for the past 20 years with the management and DOT as gross injustice has been done to them. In March 2023, the DOPT has circulated guidelines to the Ministries to given an option to such of those employees recruited prior to 2004. Then the CHQ took up the issue with the DOT vide letter dated 6th March 2023 ( letter kept in link Issues taken up) to implement these orders in BSNL also. Accordingly the DOT has endorsed the orders of DOPT. Now the CHQ will take up with the BSNL Management for its early implementation. For details of the circular see link Orders.
The BSNL CO ND has issued revised guidelines regarding allotment of accommodation to Unions wherein 3 times of license fee will be charged for the accommodation allotted. This was changed basing on request made by the CHQ to the Hon’ble MOC and to the BSNL management. It will be big relief to the Unions. For details of the instructions please see Link Orders.
