CGM AP circle has issued transfer orders to Group C officials working in circle office to the Krishna SSA which is against the norms. The CHQ has taken up the issue with the CMD BSNL to cancel the orders. For details please see link Issues taken up.
The form for recovery of union subscription from the employees is kept in the link Circulars. All the Circle / Distict and Branch secretaries are requested to download the same and ensure that maximum number of forms are filled up.
Corporate office has issued instructions that w.e.f. June-July 2023 check off round, the employees have to submit their options on line for change of union subscription from one union to another union. This direction of the corporate office is very dangerous, it will affect many unions for obvious reasons. The CHQ has immediately asked the management to withdraw the instructions. BSNL CO has withdrawn its orders dated 5.6.23 regarding online option for Union subscription for Non executives after the CHQ took up the issue.
A notice was served on the CMD BSNL and Secretary DOT by all the Non executive unions in BSNL over the 3 main demands viz., Implementation of 3rd PRC, New Promotion Policy and Immediate launch of 4G/5 G. For details see link Demands. All the Circle and District Secretaries are advised to participate in the programme given by the Forum without fail and report compliance to the CHQ.

Shri M. Anand, BTEU BSNL Circle Office Branch President has retired on Superannuation on 31.5.2023. BTEU BSNL wishes him a Very Happy Retired life. We acknowledge his services to the Union and BMS.

The 3rd Biennial Circle conference of BTEU(BSNL),NE-1 Circle was successfully completed
on 7th May,2023 under the Presidentship of Sri Sudip Das. In the conference All India General Secretary, Shri R.C pandey was present as the Chief guest. Shri Ranjan Kumar Saha,Prabhari,North East,BTEU(BSNL) hoisted the Flag in the conference. Smt. Debashree Kaloi, National Executive Member,BMS from Tripura was present as a special guest of honour. Shri Tapan Kumar Dey,General Secretary,Tripura Pradesh BMS;Shri Uttam Sarkar,President, West Tripura District BMS and Shri Babul Ghosh,Secretary,West Tripura District BMS were aslo present in the meeting. Shri Mukesh Kumar Gupta, General Manager,Tripura BA and Shri Rajib Bhattacharjee, TAC member and also President of Tripura Pradesh BJP participated in the Open session at 3.00 PM. Shri Sandipan Roy Chowdhury, Tripura District President of AIGETOA was also present in the meeting with his members And Sri Subrata Debnath, Secretary, Tripura district, SNEA also participated in the Open Session. On the Same day, the new Circle committee,BTEU(BSNL),NE-1 and District committee, Tripura district have been formed in the presence of National executive member. Circle President-Sri Nitya Gopal Debbarma(JE) Circle Secretary-Sri Sudip Das(JE). Circle Treasurer-Sri Goutam Kar(ATT).
The ALTTC/TTC Jbalpur has prescribed new standards of qualifyng marks for the Training batches which are at present going on in various training centres. As per these orders minimum percentage will be 50%. The CHQ took u the case with the BSNL management immediately. Yesterday Shri V.V.S.Satyanarayana, President CHQ met Smt Samitha Luthra Ji, Pr. General Manager Recruitment and Training in the BSNL corporate office and discussed the issue and demanded that the earlier system of qualifying marks should be restored. To this extent the copy of the earlier orders was also supplied to her. She has assured to get the case reexamined. The matter will be pursued further.
