AS DECIDED IN THE PUNE CWC OF BDPS AN ONLINE MEETING OF BTEU BSNL, BDPS, AIGETOA AND SOME OTHER LIKE MINDED UNIONS AND ASSOCIATIONS WAS HELD YESTERDAY AND IT WAS DECIDED TO FORCE A MORCHA FOR AN AGITATIONAL PROGRAMME ON THREE MAIN ISSUES LIKE PAY REVISION, PROMOTIONS AND PENSION REVISION. A PHYSICAL MEETING IS BEING PLANNED IN DELHI NEXT WEEK WHEREIN THE DATES ETC WILL BE FIRMED UP.
The DOT has issued orders to the effect that the ALTTC campus is to be handed over to them . The CHQ has made a strong protest and addressed the CMD BSNL to take up the issue with the DOT and see that the orders are got rescinded immediately.For details see link Issues taken up.
The VI All India conference of the Bharatiya Telecom Employees Union (BSNL) wll be held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh East Circle on 19th and 20th February 2024. In this connection all the Circle Secretaries are advised to note the following points and act accordingly.
a) The entry to the AIC this time will be strictly based on the membership of each circle. The number of delegates per circle will be intimated to the respective circle secretary basing on the quota received and that number of delegates from that circle will be allowed to take part in the AIC. Apart from this all the Circle Secretaries, Circle Presidents and CHQ office bearers will be eligible to attend the AIC.
b) Only working employees and paid members of the union will be allowed entry into the AIC
c) All circles should complete their circle conferences before 15th December 2023. Failing which such of those circles who do not held their circle conferences will not be allowed into the AIC.
As such all Circle Secretaries shoud take note of the above and act accordingly.
The conference of Srikakulam BA comprising of Srikakulam and Vizianagaram SSAs was held on 5th November at Vizianagaram. The following were elected. President Shri M.Narasimhulu, JE, Secretary Sri P.Venkataramana, AOS and Finance Secretary K.Bhaskara Rao, TT. we wish the newly elected office bearrs all the best.
All India working committee meeting of Bharatiya Doorsanchar Pensioners Sangh was held at Pune on 5-6 November. It was decided to organise a joint morcha Comprising of AIGETOA, BTEU BSNL and BDPS to settle the issues of 3 Ps viz Pay Revision, Pension revision and Promotions. The General Secretaries of BDPS Shri H.V.Sovani ji and BTEU BSNL Shri R.C.Pandey ji along with Shri Veerabhadra Rao All India President of AIGETOA were present. Shri SVS Subrahmanyam National Executive Committee member BMS has offered to undertake indefinite fast/Fast unto death for settlement of the demands. The meeting was also attended by the Saha Prabhari of Pensioners associations in BMS Shri Amar Singh ji. The morcha will meet in Delhi after the Deepawali festival to finalise the mode of agitation and also the dates of the agitation.
