*Massive Organizational Programs “Delhi Chalo – Maha Dharna” Announced by BDM Under Guidance of BMS :*

A meeting of Bharatiya Doorsanchar Manch (BDM) was held on 19th May 2026 through online mode. The meeting was attended by the constituents of BDM, including Telecom Prabhari BMS Shri Ashok Kumar Ji. The meeting was also attended by GS MTNL MS Sh D R Singh Ji.

At the outset, Chairman BDM and GS AIGETOA Shri Ravi Shil Verma opened the meeting with a strong emphasis on the urgent need for action programs in pursuit of the long pending issues pertaining to the employees, viz. implementation of 3rd PRC, residual issues of 2nd PRC i.e. Pay Scales, Pay Loss and 30% SAB contribution, promotions for all eligible employees, creation of an internal managerial hierarchy in BSNL, One Company-One Policy, restoration of all allowances and perquisites, immediate scrapping of the SET Recruitment Process, settlement of pending committee reports and resolution of BSNL viability related issues. Convener BDM and GS BTEU BSNL Shri R C Pandey outlined the proposed action programs. Shri Hari Sowani Ji, GS BDPS, and Shri Ratnesh Kumar Ji, President BDPS, highlighted the long pending issue of pension revision for BSNL/MTNL pensioners. GS MTNLMS Shri D R Singh highlighted the issues pertaining to the employees of MTNL. The meeting also deliberated extensively on the issue of appointment of a regular CMD for BSNL and MTNL, considering it crucial for organizational stability and effective decision making.

The meeting unanimously agreed on the need for immediate intervention by BMS on the issues and to initiate the proposed action programs without further delay. The All India Secretary and Telecom Prabhari of BMS extended solidarity with the employees of BSNL and MTNL and reaffirmed the commitment of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh to ensure resolution of the issues raised by the constituents. *_Shri Ashok Kumar Ji also emphasized that the Government must be persuaded to mandate the usage of BSNL’s Swadeshi 4G technology by all Central and State Government organizations and PSUs. The Telecom Prabhari further stated that the Central Leadership of BMS would participate in the action programs and extend all necessary support to its affilates under the banner of Bharatiya Doorsanchar Manch._*

The Convener and Chairman of BDM also informed the house that notice in this regard could have been served earlier but we came to know through whatsapp circulations that another group under the banner of AUAB had decided to launch certain action programs. BDM did not served the notice because it did not want to create an impression of a divided house in BSNL by initiating parallel agitational programs. It was further informed that a written communication had already been sent to AUAB seeking confirmation regarding the proposed programs to be launched by them. However, neither any communication has been received from them nor has any notice been served by them in this regard till date. Hence, the house felt that it would not be prudent to wait any longer.

*Accordingly, the meeting decided to organize a massive full-day “Maha Dharna – Delhi Chalo” program in the last week of July 2026 to press upon the Government for immediate resolution of the issues pertaining to BSNL and MTNL employees.*

*Prior to the Maha Dharna, a series of organizational and awareness programs shall be organized across the country, including:*

*_1] Submission of Memorandums to Hon’ble Prime Minister, Governors and Members of Parliament._*

*_2] Massive Social Media Campaign on issues related to 3rd PRC, residual issues of 2nd PRC, One Company-One Policy and appointment of regular CMD for BSNL/MTNL._*

*_3] Lunch Hour Demonstrations._*

*_4] Relay Hunger Fast._*

*_5] Organizational outreach and mass mobilization programs._*

Earlier, in a recent meeting held between Bharatiya Doorsanchar Manch (BDM) and the Central Headquarters leadership of BMS, it was collectively decided to intensify the struggle through strong field-level organizational programs. Accordingly, a massive “Chalo Delhi” campaign culminating in a Maha Dharna at New Delhi shall be organised under the patronage and guidance of BMS, wherein the CHQ leadership of BMS will also actively participate in the organizational program.

*The constituents of Bharatiya Doorsanchar Manch have decided to meet at Delhi on 25th May 2026 and serve the notice for the Action Programs.*

The developments have further strengthened the resolve of the constituents of Bharatiya Doorsanchar Manch to carry forward the movement in a united, determined and decisive manner for safeguarding the interests of BSNL and MTNL employees and pensioners.
